Art Ring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftmanship showcasing masterful creations from over 40 unique designers. The Art Ring event is hosted in the gallery from  November to January. Each Art Ring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer. 

THE RING

”I occasionally like breaking away from the geometry that characterises my work. the ring has an antique coral cameo that comes from Trapani, Sicily. I liked the dea of a woman looking at a golden cup, holding a diamond inside. I wanted to create a special ring that is reminiscent of ancient pieces of jewellery ” – Daphne Krinos

Fine jeweller Daphne Krinos is known for her bold and architectural designs. Creating unique, one-off pieces entirely by hand, she works with gold, black oxidised silver and precious gemstones. Originally from Greece, Daphne established her studio in London in the early 1980s. Daphne’s pieces can be found in the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Goldsmiths Company and the Crafts Council amongst others.
