One Of A Kind ‘Snare’ Art Ring

This ring is part of our Art Ring showcase at Tomfoolery. Art Ring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftmanship showcasing masterful creations from over 40 unique designers. The Art Ring event is hosted in the gallery from  November to January. Each Art Ring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.

”I like to think of the practical nature of jewellery making – in particular, the discovery of each element. For this ring, I considered the holding and transportation of the gemstones. In particular, I have imagined that they are stumbled upon, and then with what little material is available they are ‘bound’ up and held with tension to be carried. The ‘Snare’ ring imagines a more dangerous discovery giving the design a more theatrical edge.”- Fraser Hamilton
