Pearl Strand Flower Earrings

Ashley Buchanan’s work is inspired by ornamentation and historical jewellery. Ashley challenges the conventions of handmade jewellery through the use of traditional materials and new approaches to design and surface decoration. A modern interpretation of classic pearl jewellery. These earrings are hand cut to suggest the outline of pearl strands arragnged in a flower like shape. The earring is finished with a silver post and butterfly.
