Organic movement filtered through geometric shapes, sharp lines and asymmetry creates a poetic language that re-negotiates how Kajsa Malmström's jewellery relates to the body.
This ring is part of our Art Ring showcase at Tomfoolery.
Art Ring is a celebration of bold design and craftmanship; for this event we asked over 30 of our designers to create unique statement rings. The Art Ring event runs from the 8th November to the 31st of January. Treat yourself or a loved one to a one of a kind ring!
" The design for this one-of-a-kind ring was informed by sharp angles and negative space. A play on how a geometric structure can negotiate the anatomy of a finger is contrasted by the beauty and colours of natural gemstones."
This one-of-a-kind ring is made from sterling silver. Its open, linear structure wraps around the finger and uses the empty space as the main focal point. It is accented by two quartz cabochons set in 18k yellow gold.
- Sterling silver, 18k yellow gold
- Tourmalated Quartz, Lemon Quartz
- Ring size: M middle

Kajsa's main influences and sources of inspiration come from design movements like Bauhaus and the Memphis Group as well as a long list of artists and designers who's expressions challenge my eyes and brain.
