Last week Laura and the Tomfoolery team visited Paris to showcase our amazing new Métier collection at the prestigious “Premiere Classe.” This renowned fashion trade show is a haven for those seeking exquisite accessories, and it’s a must-visit for anyone with a passion for style and craftsmanship. Premiere Classe is an international trade show that takes place in Paris twice a year, featuring an exclusive selection of high-end accessories, including jewellery, handbags, and footwear. This event is a treasure trove for fashion buyers, designers, and connoisseurs who wish to explore the latest trends and discover emerging talents in the world of accessories.

Along the way, the team selected new collections from a few of our bestselling designers. Dominique Denaive is a renowned French jewellery designer and artist. He is known for his distinctive and colourful resin creations. Denaive’s jewellery designs often feature bold, oversized shapes and vibrant colours, making them instantly recognisable and a favourite among those who appreciate statement jewellery pieces. His designs have been popular in the fashion world and have been worn by celebrities and fashion enthusiasts alike. Denaive’s use of resin as a primary material in his jewellery allows him to experiment with various shapes, sizes, and colours, resulting in unique and eye-catching pieces.

Pascale Monvoisin is a notable French jewellery designer known for her unique and distinctive handcrafted jewellery pieces. Her creations often combine various materials and gemstones, resulting in bohemian-chic and artistic jewellery that has gained popularity in the fashion world. Her designs often feature irregular shapes, organic textures, and a mix of materials like gold, diamonds, pearls, and various semi-precious and precious gemstones.

Judith Benita is a French designer known for her minimalist and contemporary jewellery creations. Her designs often focus on clean lines, geometric shapes, and the use of precious and semi-precious materials. Her jewellery pieces are typically characterised by their simplicity and elegance.

The team also spent time sourcing new designers for Tomfoolery, including Vanessa Arizaga, Ina Seifart, Inès-Olympe Mercadal, hand-picking new collections whilst also considering their sustainability credentials in order to curate a unique and eco-conscious collection. Watch this space!

After the hustle and bustle of attending Premiere Classe the team went exploring the enchanting streets of Paris. After immersing themselves in the world of accessories at the trade show, they took some time to stroll through the city’s charming neighbourhoods, visit boutique stores, and experience the timeless elegance that is uniquely Paris.
