Engagement Ring Care Guide

LOOKING AFTER YOUR RING

All our rings are expertly-made by independent designers from around the world so you can rest assured they are built to last. However, it’s important to remember that no precious metal or stone is indestructible! We would therefore recommend removing your ring before doing certain activities such as playing sports, doing household DIY or gardening. Please feel free to get in touch if you’re in need of advice.

CLEANING YOUR RING

Most rings can be cleaned at home with a soft toothbrush and small amount of washing up liquid in warm water. This removes the build-up of grease and dirt that commonly builds up over time.
If you ind you can’t reach dirt around the setting or behind the stone bring it in and we’ll give it a professional clean.

KEEPING YOUR RING IN GOOD CONDITION

The best advice we can give is to get to know your ring. Keep a look out for signs of damage to the settings or wear to the band.
If any part of the band or setting (e.g. a claw) looks worn down or the stone is loose bring it in and we’ll look at ways to strengthen the band or setting by adding metal.
It is common for claw-set rings to require re-tipping every 5-10 years so this is nothing to be alarmed about.
Please get in touch if you have any questions or queries about aftercare as we want you to enjoy your ring for many years to come.
