Aquamarine Dew Drop Art Ring

Please note, this is a one-of-a-kind ring made for our ARTring 2023 exhibition. ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftsmanship showcasing masterful creations from 30 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.

The Aquamarine Dew Drop Art Ring by Momocreatura is a meticulously crafted one-of-a-kind gemstone ring that combines the serene beauty of aquamarine with the intriguing charm of salt and pepper diamonds, delicately set against textured 9ct recycled yellow gold. This ring can be worn in two ways: as a finger ring or as a pendant charm suspended from a chain.

Momo says about her Art Ring:

“During ancient Roman times, there was a belief that dew was a celestial vapour bestowed upon the Earth by the moon and stars. This belief was rooted in the observable phenomenon that dew typically formed on clear, cloudless nights when the moon and stars adorned the night sky. Drawing inspiration from this celestial connection, the Tanzanian Moyo Aquamarine is likened to the dew, created by the moon and stars and surrounded by delicate gold drops”.
