Athena No.2 Art Ring

Please note, this is a one-of-a-kind ring made for our ARTring 2022 exhibition. ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftmanship showcasing masterful creations from over 40 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.

Inspired by ancient Roman treasures and the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, Mia’s pieces evolve as a process of experimentation and discovery. They explore texture, form and arrangement, resulting in one-of-a-kind masterpieces that find beauty in the imperfect and authentic.

Mia says about her Art Ring:

“Stop me now no longer, when I am eager to be gone, and whatever gift your heart orders you give me, give it when I come back, to bear to my home, choosing a right beautiful one; it shall bring you its worth in return.”
