Green Ocean Sapphire Nugget Studs by Emily Nixon. Rugged nuggets of gold have been smoothed to the texture of tumbled pebbles. Green ocean sapphires twinkle in their midst. Artfully irregular, these ocean inspired studs are made to be subtly mismatched. Created in Cornwall by Emily in 18ct recycled yellow gold and cast using the traditional lost wax process. Artfully irregular, made to be subtly mismatched. The dichotomy of the precious and the organic – special stones encircled by sea-worn fragments of gold – characterises so much of her inspiration.
