Matilda Art Ring

Please note, this is a one-of-a-kind ring made for our ARTring 2021 exhibition. ARTring is an annual celebration of bold design and craftmanship showcasing masterful creations from over 40 unique designers. The ARTring event is hosted in the gallery from November to January. Each ARTring comes with a dedicated Story Card featuring a sketch and quote from the designer.

Each piece of jewellery is made in Ciara’s East London studio with the sustainable future of the jewellery in mind. All gemstones and gold in Ciara’s jewellery are recycled. She works with reputable suppliers to source recycled gemstones from unworn and vintage jewellery and uses recycled gold. All of her designs are one-of-a-kind, designed and build around gorgeous vintage gemstones. Recycled metals and gems are a fantastic eco-friendly option, as opposed to newly mined materials that can have devastating effects on the environment.

Ciara says about her art ring:

“The Matilda Ring – In response to the events of recent times, I believe we can be invigorated by jewellery that is frivolously extravagant, opulent and luxurious. Matilda is mighty and battle-ready, and beautiful and feminine all at the same time. A strong cameo surrounded by a halo of bright multi-coloured sapphires of different cuts and shapes, and with hidden details underneath that only, the wearer will know.”
